A little about me.

What inspired you to become a Support Coordinator?
Throughout my career in the Health and Medical Industry, I would always find myself gravitating back to disability and community support. I have gained valuable knowledge and expertise working as an Enrolled nurse - becoming a Support Coordinator combines all of that knowledge and my passion for helping people, and bringing about positive change in people's lives.

How long have you been working in this space, and what do you enjoy most about it?
My background in Nursing, and Care Coordination has allowed me opportunities to implement cross discipline experience into daily care and routines, I have also managed care teams and coordinated supports for individuals across both NDIS and Aged Care funding schemes. I love working collaboratively with an individual's team to create real change, and I love creating solutions for barriers and obstacles.

What types of support services do you specialise in or have experience with?
Medical knowledge and expertise, and Care Coordination for ideal support matching with Participants.

Are there any resources or programs you find interesting and beneficial for a lot of your participants?
I have access to a large database of quality providers and allied health and have worked collaboratively throughout Brisbane with providers that excel in their fields.

What do you believe are the most important qualities for a Support Coordinator to have?
I believe that a Support Coordinator should be compassionate, motivated and dedicated, they should work collaboratively and be a determined advocate for the best outcomes of participants.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Any hobbies or interests you’d like to share?
I enjoy spending my time with my family, friends and my dog, often exploring and spending a lot of time out in nature.
